A rare "time capsule" has been discovered on the Russian secondary market - a lilac GAZ-3110 "Volga" manufactured in September 1998. The car was removed from long-term storage and put up for sale during the New Year holidays. Despite its age, the car looks as if it had just left the factory assembly line.
The GAZ-3110 replaced the GAZ-31029 model and was produced from 1997 to 2004. The model being sold belongs to the so-called first edition. According to the owner, the sedan was in storage for about 25 years, and it was registered only in the fall of 2023, which makes the find especially unusual for the modern market.
The car's mileage is only 17 km, and the factory cellophane is still preserved on the seats. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 90 hp, working in tandem with a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The seller is asking 999,000 rubles for the fully preserved "Volga".
