During the New Year holidays, parking on Moscow streets will be free until January 10, but this does not exempt drivers from complying with the rules. If a vehicle was parked in violation, it will be impounded by decision of the Moscow Administrative Road Inspectorate (MADI).
You can find out where the car was taken around the clock by calling +7 (495) 539-54-54 or 3210 from a mobile phone, as well as through the "Parkovki Rossii" app. Permission for the return of the vehicle is processed at the special impound lots of GKU "AMPP".
There are several special impound lots operating in Moscow: Odoevskogo Prospekt, 3; Entuziastov Prospekt, 3; Vagonoremontnaya Street, 4A (all open 24/7); Dubovoi Roshchi Prospekt, 7A; Sosenskoye settlement, Quarter No. 7 (the last two are open from 10:00 to 22:00).
It is important to note that the MADI reception office on Bolshaya Pochtovaya Street is closed until January 11, so all issues related to impoundment during the holidays are handled remotely or through the special impound lots.
From January 11, street parking will switch to the Sunday schedule: free almost everywhere except in zones with rates of 380, 450, and 600 rubles per hour, as well as sections with dynamic pricing. Barrier-controlled parking lots remain paid every day.
