State Duma Vice-Speaker Vladislav Davankov announced the need to simplify the registration of car tuning. This refers to modifications to the car that do not affect road safety.
According to the parliamentarian, some modifications do turn cars into "alien", but in most cases it is about improving parts and factory characteristics.
If it does not affect safety on the road, then I believe that it is necessary to simplify all registration options for such cars.
The politician stressed that the key criterion should be common sense and road safety. According to him, due to complex rules, owners of tuned cars are forced to hide, go out at night and avoid inspections.
This does not stop the use of such cars, but contributes to the growth of petty corruption. Simplifying registration, Davankov believes, will reduce these risks and bring car tuning out of the "gray area".
