In Moscow, a court confiscated a Mercedes worth more than 2.6 million rubles from a 23-year-old driver who staged a smoke show near a bar on 1st Brestskaya Street. The young man started spinning on the spot, demonstrating the power of the car in front of his friends, which was noticed by law enforcement officers.
On the spot, the man refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication. The check showed that this was not the first such case: he had previously violated the rules, was deprived of his rights and fined.
For repeated refusal, the court fined the driver 300 thousand rubles and prohibited him from engaging in activities related to driving vehicles for two years.
In accordance with the position of the Tver Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office, the car was confiscated as state revenue.
