The Minsk Automobile Plant, together with the Kupava enterprise, has presented a new Kupava 273140 motorhome, created on the basis of the MAZ-365022 chassis. The project is aimed at travel and motor tourism enthusiasts and, as the developers emphasize, is designed to be driven with ordinary category B rights. Under the hood is a 150 hp turbodiesel engine, working in tandem with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and safety is ensured by ABS, a brake force distribution system and an electronic stability control system.
The living module of the motorhome includes two isolated sleeping areas with curtains and bedding sets. The dining area is designed for four people, with two chairs that can be rotated. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, extractor hood, sink, cabinets and a 92-liter refrigerator, and gas is supplied from a 27-liter cylinder.
The motorhome also has a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a washbasin and a ventilation system, and two heaters and air conditioning ensure comfort in any weather. For outdoor recreation, the basic equipment includes a barbecue, skewers and a cauldron, which emphasizes the tourist orientation of the new MAZ project.
