In 2025, the Russian brand Moskvich sold only 15.6 thousand new cars, which is 33% less than the 2024 figure. The main contribution to sales came from the Moskvich 3 crossover, which accounted for more than 81% of the total volume, or 12.7 thousand vehicles.
The Moskvich 6 liftback took about 10% of the market with 1.5 thousand units sold. The remaining models, including the Moskvich 3e electric crossover, Moskvich 8, and Moskvich 5, were sold in a combined total of 1.4 thousand units.
In December 2025, the Moskvich plant launched production of the new M70 and M90 crossovers on a fundamentally new platform with an updated emblem inspired by the tooth of the Kremlin wall.
The exact dates when these models will go on sale will be announced later.
