BAZ all-wheel-drive trucks and high-mobility chassis have been included in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade subsidy program for 2026. This was reported by the press service of AO "Romanov".
Thanks to this decision, buyers will be able to purchase the equipment with state support through existing leasing programs. The ministry's list includes a chassis, a tractor unit, a flatbed truck, and a BAZ dump truck.
All models confirmed a high level of localization, scoring 3,644 points against the minimum required threshold of 2,500. This made it possible to include the products in the GISP register of Russian industrial products.
Aleksandr Bredikhin, head of the marketing department at AO "Romanov," noted that participation in the program strengthens the company's position in the market and increases the appeal of the equipment for customers.
For the company, this is a tool for expanding its market presence and developing serial sales.
Serial production of BAZ trucks began at the end of 2025 at the site in St. Petersburg. In 2026, the enterprise plans to produce up to 600 vehicles. By 2028, the company expects to reach a capacity of up to 1,400 units per year while operating in two shifts.
