BAZ all-wheel drive trucks and high- проходимости chassis have been included in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade's subsidy program for 2026. This was reported by the press service of JSC "Romanov."
Thanks to this decision, buyers will be able to purchase equipment with state support through existing leasing programs. The agency's list includes the BAZ chassis, semi-trailer truck, flatbed truck, and dump truck.
All models confirmed a high level of localization, scoring 3,644 points with a minimum required score of 2,500. This allowed the products to be included in the register of Russian industrial products of the GISP.
Alexander Bredikhin, Head of the Marketing Department at JSC "Romanov", noted that participation in the program strengthens the company's position in the market and increases the attractiveness of the equipment for customers.
For the company, this is a tool for expanding its presence in the market and developing serial sales.
Serial production of BAZ trucks began at the end of 2025 at a site in St. Petersburg. In 2026, the company plans to produce up to 600 vehicles. By 2028, the company expects to reach a capacity of up to 1,400 units per year when operating in two shifts.
