KamAZ continues to develop the K5 family and is preparing to launch several new products at once. In the near future, the special 65951 chassis with an extended rear overhang, a power take-off, and high-load-capacity tires will enter the assembly line. Concrete mixers are planned to be produced on its basis.
Another new product will be the medium-duty KamAZ-53251 with a gross vehicle weight of 18 tons, aimed at the retail sector. The vehicle is equipped with a diesel engine producing 310 hp and a 9-speed gearbox.
The closest relative of this model is the 63934 chassis, intended for special-purpose vehicles, including those for firefighting services. In the future, the new product may replace fire tankers based on the KamAZ-43253.
In addition, the plant is preparing the three-axle 6565 series. It will include the 65657 flatbed truck and the 65656 tractor unit. These models are expected to compete with Chinese 6×4-class vehicles.
