Nissan has launched the new compact seven-seat cross-van Nissan Gravite on the Indian market. The new model will go on sale at a price starting from 565 thousand rupees, which is about 477.6 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate.
For comparison, the base version of the LADA Granta costs from 850 thousand rubles, while the modification with two front airbags costs at least 1,101,000 rubles.
The Nissan Gravite was developed specifically for the Indian market with the needs of family customers in mind. Production will be set up at the Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai.
Under the hood is a 1.0-liter gasoline engine producing 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque. Depending on the trim level, either a five-speed manual or a conventional five-speed automatic is available.
Equipment includes more than 30 safety features, including ABS with EBD, stability control, traction control, and hill-start assist.
The cabin received a digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch multimedia system display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, as well as wireless smartphone charging. Front and rear parking sensors and an automatic door locking function are also provided.
