According to CarNewsChina, in 2025, MG sold more than 300,000 cars in Europe and the UK, of which over 85,000 were in the British market. This is almost 30% more than the year before. The brand has maintained its status as the leading Chinese automotive brand in Europe for 11 consecutive years.

The growth dynamics are impressive: in 2021, MG sales in Europe exceeded 50,000 cars, in 2022 the 100,000 mark was exceeded for the first time, and in 2023 sales reached 200,000 cars.

In the first half of 2025, MG managed to outsell Tesla in Europe. According to ACEA data, MG's result was 153,000 cars against 136,000 for Elon Musk's brainchild.

Founded in 1924, the brand is successfully sold in its historical homeland. More than 370,000 MG cars have already been sold in the UK, of which over 100,000 are electric vehicles. Among the brand's striking models is the MG Cyberster electric roadster.
