The tractor operates on routes from Vladivostok to the Amur Region. The total test period is 11 months. During this time, experts will assess the adaptation of the equipment to loads and operating conditions. Initial results show that the vehicle provides the required reliability in the transportation of LNG.

The tractor was handed over in October 2025 at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. After that, the vehicle traveled from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. Technical maintenance was performed at a mileage of 9,000 km.

The MAZ-54A02N is equipped with a robotic 12-speed gearbox with a retarder. The total volume of cryogenic tanks is 930 liters. The vehicle meets the requirements of ADR for the transport of dangerous goods.

The project is being implemented with the participation of PJSC Gazprom. Gazprom Helium Service is developing LNG infrastructure and using gas-powered vehicles to transport liquefied gases on domestic and international routes.
