Kaliningrad-based Avtotor has announced two compact electric vehicles, the AmberAuto 1 and AmberAuto 3, with a range of up to 330 km and a focus on affordability. Both models are aimed at urban use and expand the AmberAuto brand lineup.
The \"AmberAuto 1\" model will have a length of 3160 mm and a wheelbase of 2100 mm. The car is designed for four passengers. The motor output will be 20 hp, and the top speed will be up to 85 km/h. The stated range is 250–300 km depending on operating conditions. The launch timeline has not yet been disclosed.
The larger \"AmberAuto 3\" will be almost 600 mm longer. It will get a 68 hp motor and will be able to accelerate to 102 km/h. The range has been increased to 330 km. Production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.
Both models are being developed with an emphasis on maximum affordability and urban use.
The expansion of the AmberAuto lineup reflects growing interest in compact electric vehicles and an attempt to occupy the niche of budget electric transport in Russia.
