AvtoVAZ is developing a head-up display (HUD) that will display information directly on the windshield of Lada cars. This was announced by the company's Director of Digital Services, Artem Bakhrakh.
Such a system is usually used in higher-class cars. It allows you to display speed, navigation and other data directly in front of the driver's eyes, reducing the need to be distracted by the instrument panel.
But I'm not ready to comment on the timing of implementation in production cars yet. We understand that this is safety, this is convenience in the daily operation of the car.
At the same time, AvtoVAZ is developing digital functions — new models already have instrument panels with navigation, as well as voice control. For example, Lada Iskra uses the Alice assistant, with which you can control certain functions of the car.
In addition, through the Lada Connect application, the driver can remotely monitor the condition of the car — from the fuel level to the engine temperature.
