Lego quietly added a new Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT set to its Technic line. The constructor is aimed at users aged 10 and up and offers not only the assembly of the basic version of the car but also elements for customization. The set includes a total of 973 pieces.
The basic model replicates a road-going Mustang GT with a vibrant paint scheme combining blue and pink accents. The design features a steering element on the roof, allowing the wheels to turn. The hood opens, revealing a simulated V8 engine with movable parts.
A key feature of the set is the inclusion of 12 additional components for altering the exterior. These include a hood scoop, an enlarged front splitter, and a large rear wing. Alternative side skirts, a redesigned rear body, and doors with street-style graphics are also provided.
The manufacturer emphasizes that the parts can be combined to create individual design variations. This expands play possibilities and brings the set closer to the concept of custom cars.
The assembled model is approximately 27 cm long, 13 cm wide, and 9 cm high. For assembly, you can use the proprietary Builder app, which allows you to rotate the model in 3D, scale the image, and track progress using digital instructions.
