- a plastic container with a lid (e.g., an ice cream cup);
- a round brush for a screwdriver;
- a screwdriver;

After that, the brush is installed in the lid and connected to the screwdriver chuck.

How cleaning works
The principle of operation resembles a small washing centrifuge.
The sequence of actions is as follows:
- Pour fasteners into the plastic container.
- Add cleaning solution.
- Close the lid.
- Connect the brush to the screwdriver.
- Turn on rotation at a low speed.
As a cleaner, you can use:
- gasoline;
- "Galosha" solvent;
- other similar degreasing compounds.
During operation, it is necessary to consider that the lid of such a design is not completely sealed. At too high a rotation speed, liquid splashing and solvent evaporation are possible.
Therefore, it is recommended to perform such cleaning in a well-ventilated area, observing fire safety measures and using personal protective equipment.
What results can be achieved
After a few minutes of processing, the fasteners are almost completely cleaned of years of contamination.
Next, it is enough to:
- pour out the parts;
- allow the solvent to evaporate completely;
- dry the fasteners if necessary;
- reinstall them.

However, it is important to remember that the method is only suitable for elements without severe corrosion, thread damage, or mechanical defects. If the fastener has lost strength or shows signs of severe wear, it is still better to replace it with a new one.
