The premium brand Genesis could significantly expand its Magma sports lineup. Company executives admit that in the future, the range may include even more powerful and exclusive models, comparable in concept to Mercedes-AMG Black Series or BMW CS series cars.

For now, the Magma division is just starting to develop. The first production model was the Genesis G80 Magma for the Middle Eastern market, and the GV60 Magma will be the first global car. The electric crossover is positioned as a competitor to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Kia EV6 GT.

However, the brand's ambitions are not limited to this. In an interview with Car Sales, Hyundai's Head of Product Development in Australia, Tim Rodgers, stated that Genesis is quite capable of creating even more extreme versions of its cars.

Genesis's serious intentions are also evidenced by the company's participation in motorsport. The brand recently debuted in the "24 Hours of Le Mans" marathon with the GMR-001 LMDh prototype, and also unveiled a new GT3 class car. It is expected that the developments of the racing program will form the basis of future road models, including a possible mid-engine supercar that will become the brand's flagship.

However, the decision to release even more powerful cars will depend on the commercial success of Magma models. If demand is high, Genesis will be able to launch exclusive versions that can compete with the most powerful cars from German premium brands.
