Porsche is preparing to expand its Sonderwunsch program, which allows for the creation of unique, custom-ordered vehicles. Currently, the program's main focus is on the 911, but the company is already working on projects based on four-door models.

Porsche confirms that future projects will include the Panamera and Cayenne. This applies not only to new cars. The division is capable of restoring already produced vehicles as part of Factory Re-Commissioning – with deep technical restoration and factory support.
The scope of modifications goes far beyond ordinary personalization. The client, together with Porsche engineers and designers, defines the technical concept of the car, after which specialists verify its feasibility and compliance with certification requirements.
There is already a prime example. In 2025, Porsche restored a first-generation Cayenne GTS for an American collector: the car received a unique color, a modified interior, and upgraded mechanics.
However, an individual project is not a quick process. According to Alexander Fabig, Head of Porsche Individualisation & Classic, the standard scheme takes about three years: approximately one year for concept development and another two for production, tooling, and testing.
