The American Cadillac F1 is not for sale. TWG Global, which owns a stake in the team, officially stated that it is not considering a change of ownership for either Cadillac or its other racing assets.

The reason for the rumors was financial events surrounding TWG Global head Mark Walter. After the sale of his stake in the Los Angeles Lakers basketball club, reports emerged about the possible sale of other assets. At the same time, US federal authorities are investigating operations related to several of Walter's insurance companies. However, the investigation has not yet led to charges against him.

Cadillac F1 itself is not implicated as a violator in the investigation. This is an important clarification, as discussions about a possible sale of the team arose precisely against the backdrop of the situation surrounding its co-owner.

Team reshuffles also fueled interest. Before the Dutch Grand Prix, Cadillac changed its team principal: Marcin Budkowski replaced Graeme Loudon. The new team principal stated that the question of a possible team sale was not discussed at all during his appointment. For now, the owners' position is unequivocal: Cadillac F1 will continue to operate in its current structure.
