The Khudaidatov Team workshop has restarted the production of taillight diffusers for the small-series Moskvich-214242 "Ivan Kalita" cars. The new parts are manufactured using rapid prototyping, and they can be ordered individually.
"Ivan Kalita" is one of the rarest models of the Moscow automobile plant. The car was produced in a limited series based on the "Moskvich-2142" and featured more expensive trim, an elongated body, and original exterior elements.
One of the problems for owners of such cars has been body parts and optics: finding an original diffuser decades later is almost impossible. Therefore, the ability to manufacture a new part to order is especially important for owners of preserved cars.
For collectible cars, this is practically the only way to maintain the vehicles in their original condition. And it is especially noteworthy that we are not talking about some rare Porsche or Mercedes, but about an almost forgotten Russian car, which was once considered one of the most expensive "Moskvich" models.
