Toyota has prepared an update for the Crown Estate for the Japanese market. Sales of the modernized model will begin on November 2, 2026, and pre-orders are already open. However, the car's architecture and powertrains have not fundamentally changed. 

The main change is the new HEV G and PHEV Z trim levels. The base Crown Estate HEV G costs 5,700,200 yen (just over 3 million rubles), while the previous most affordable HEV Z hybrid cost approximately 6.35 million yen (3.4 million rubles). For the PHEV, a variant for 7,271,000 yen (3.9 million rubles) has appeared, while the PHEV RS costs 8,157,600 yen (4.37 million rubles). 

Along with the price, the equipment also changes. The HEV G, for example, has 19-inch wheels instead of 21-inch, synthetic leather instead of natural, and a less sophisticated audio system. Some driver assistance features are also only available on more expensive versions.

The technical basis remains the same: 2.5-liter hybrid powertrains, E-Four all-wheel drive, and a PHEV version. Toyota continues to expand the Crown family: the Estate remains the last of the four body styles in the lineup, while the Crossover, Sport, and Sedan have already received updates.
