Russian designers are planning to revive the famous Russo-Balt of Andrei Nagel from 1909. The new Russo-Baltic S 24/30 Nagel will become the serial basis for the construction of N4 group cars for the classic national rally.
N4 is a group of production cars for classic rallying with minimal changes. This is the so-called "showroom car", which, through participation in races, is designed to show the technical perfection and reliability of vehicles, as well as create an image.
Nagel at the wheel of the Russo-Balt in 2012 covered the distance from the Russian capital to the Principality of Monaco in 196 hours. Nagel was heading to the start of the Monte Carlo Rally, driving a more powerful version of the S24/30 - with a maximum speed of 110 km/h. In the race itself, Nagel took 9th place and received a special prize for "Range and reliability of the car."
