Volkswagen Tacqua in Russia is already cheaper than Lada Vesta

Prices start from 2.2 million rubles

Sales of the Volkswagen Tacqua compact crossover have started in Russia, supplied through parallel imports from the Chinese market. Prices for the car start from 2.2 million rubles, which makes it competitive not only with Chinese models, but also with the domestic Lada Vesta SW Cross, the cost of which in the top configuration is about 2.197 million rubles, and the sports version of the Vesta SW Sportline - 2.473 million rubles.

The Volkswagen Tacqua in the maximum configuration for 2.2 million rubles is available in Rostov-on-Don. The seller indicates that the car has a valid PTS and a paid commercial recycling fee of 668 thousand rubles. The equipment includes seats with eco-leather trim, a digital instrument panel, a multi-steering wheel, climate control, USB-C ports and an engine start button. Similar crossovers are offered in Novosibirsk and Krasnodar for 2.28 million rubles, in Obninsk - for 2.379 million rubles, and in Naberezhnye Chelny, Sevastopol and Volgograd, prices range from 2.425 to 2.72 million rubles.

In terms of dimensions, the Tacqua is more compact than the Volkswagen Taos and Skoda Karoq: length - 4108 mm, width - 1760 mm, height - 1589 mm, wheelbase - 2551 mm. The trunk volume is 367 liters, and when the rear seats are folded down, it increases to 1192 liters, which makes the car practical for everyday use.

All Tacqua versions are equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 113 hp, working in tandem with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
