The third-generation Mazda CX-5 has been unveiled in Europe, a completely updated crossover that will go on sale in late 2025, and in other regions during 2026. The car retains its recognizable style but has become larger and features modern technology, abandoning traditional physical buttons.
The new Mazda CX-5 has increased in size: the body length has grown by 114 mm to 4690 mm, and the wheelbase by 76 mm to 2815 mm. The exterior design stands out with new headlights, taillights in the style of the CX-70, a signature radiator grille, and the Mazda inscription on the tailgate, emphasizing the brand's evolution.
The crossover's interior is equipped with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display, a multifunctional steering wheel, and a digital instrument panel. Functions such as volume are now controlled via the screen or buttons on the steering wheel.
The base version of the CX-5 is equipped with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
In 2027, a hybrid version with a Skyactiv-Z powertrain developed by Mazda is expected to appear. Prices and launch dates will be announced later.
