User @42 Garage has published the first interior shots of a simplified version of the Tesla Model Y crossover, which will be the company's most affordable model.
In the photos, the seats and door panels are hidden by covers, which does not allow us to assess the details, but the absence of a panoramic glass roof and the appearance of free space in front of the center armrest are noticeable. Switching driving modes will be done via the screen.
To reduce costs, Tesla abandoned the front through light strip, moving the headlights higher, and the rear lights received a new look, bringing the overall style closer to the Model 3. The source noted that this is not a new model, but an adapted version of the Model Y, as Elon Musk previously reported. The changes are aimed at simplifying the design while maintaining the brand's recognizable features.
The launch of the budget version on the market is scheduled for the end of 2025, which may expand Tesla's audience. So far, exact data on prices and technical characteristics have not been disclosed.
