AvtoVAZ revealed the design of Lada Iskra, presenting a photo shoot of the sedan, station wagon and SW Cross crossover version, held in Belarus. According to Quto, journalist test drives will be held there in the near future.
In several photos, a ginger cat unexpectedly appeared, which may become part of the advertising campaign for the station wagon, adding originality to the model.
The basic Comfort configuration of Lada Iskra costs from 1.249 million rubles and includes front airbags, a stability control system, telematics, central locking, rain and light sensors. Sedan dimensions: 4333 mm in length, 1777 mm in width, 1517 mm in height. The car is equipped with 1.6-liter engines with 90 or 106 hp, with 5- or 6-speed "mechanics" or a variator for the 106-horsepower version. According to the results of the ARCAP crash test, Iskra received 4 stars, which confirms a high level of safety.
Sales of Lada Iskra began on July 20, 2025 in car dealerships in Tolyatti, Moscow and St. Petersburg. Some media reported problems with the issuance of paid cars, but AvtoVAZ denied this information.
