The first new Moskvich 8 crossover has been sold in Russia. The client purchased the car at a dealership in Khimki using the trade-in program, surrendering a 2020 Hyundai Creta.
The car went to a large family, where the husband works as a chef and the wife is a teacher. The dealership expressed confidence that the car will serve its first owners for a long time.
Official sales of the Moskvich 8 started on July 22. In all configurations, the crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 174 hp, working in tandem with a 7-speed robotic gearbox.
The model is offered at a price of 2.9 to 3.7 million rubles in the "Business", "Techno" and "Premium" configurations.
Earlier motoram.ru reported that sales of Moskvich brand cars decreased by 7% in July.
