From August 11, the Haval plant in the Uzlovaya industrial park is suspending the production of cars and engines due to a planned corporate vacation. During this period, preventive maintenance of equipment will be carried out on the assembly line and in the engine shop, which is a standard measure to maintain stable operation and product quality.
The downtime will not affect the availability of models: the company has already formed a sufficient stock of cars. In parallel, the construction of a new plant for transmissions and auto components is underway in the Uzlovaya special economic zone. The complex with an area of 133,600 m² will create up to a thousand jobs and increase the level of localization, which will reduce Haval's dependence on imported supplies.
The Tula plant, opened in 2019, produces Jolion, F7, F7x and Dargo crossovers using a full cycle, and also produces 1.5 and 2.0 liter gasoline engines for the entire Russian line of the brand.
