Kia Ceed cars of domestic assembly have reappeared for sale at a number of Russian dealerships. These are the last 2022 models produced at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, and they are available in hatchback and station wagon bodies. Marking plates with VIN numbers starting with "X" confirm the Russian origin of the vehicles, and Ellada Intertrade LLC is listed as the manufacturer.
In one of the Moscow region car dealerships, a Ceed hatchback in the Luxe configuration with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and a 6-speed "automatic" transmission is priced at 2,699,000 rubles. A station wagon in a similar configuration costs 2,899,000 rubles. All cars are offered with a five-year warranty or up to 150,000 km of mileage, which makes the offer especially noticeable against the background of a limited selection of new cars.
Kia ceased production and direct deliveries to Russia in 2022, but in recent years the brand has returned to the market through parallel imports. Maintenance and warranty work are now carried out by independent services and former official dealers, which allows owners to remain confident in the support of their cars.
