The Belarusian car factory "Belgee" has announced an increase in car production from 15 to 30 units per hour. The increase in production occurred after the modernization of the enterprise, during which, in particular, the number of robots in the painting shop was increased (from 10 to 43).
Belgee also reported that they added four new robots for applying primer, four painting robots for painting openings, and six robots for opening and closing doors, trunk lids, and hoods.
In addition, additional posts and equipment and two new stations for welding studs to the engine compartment partition appeared in the welding shops.
Currently, two models are assembled at the Belarusian enterprise — Belgee X50 and X70. The first is one of the best-selling cars in Russia, ranking in the top 10 cars. According to the car factory, the total volume of products manufactured at the enterprise has exceeded 100 thousand cars in two years.
