Renault has announced its largest recall campaign, affecting over 155,000 vehicles across Europe. Owners of hybrids and plug-in hybrids manufactured from April 5, 2019, to September 26, 2022, with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine will be called to Renault service stations for inspection. The sealing ring will be checked, as damage to it can lead to gearbox failure. For vehicles with a valid warranty, repairs will be free of charge if a defect is found.
The recall includes the Renault Captur 2, Renault Clio 5, Renault Mégane 4, Renault Arkana, as well as 79 Dacia Jogger models. In the near future, owners of the recalled vehicles will receive official notifications with instructions, after which they should make an appointment at an authorized Renault or Dacia center.
