Tesla Raises Model S and X Prices with Luxe Package

By $10,000 Immediately

From August 16, 2025, Tesla has increased the prices of Model S and Model X in the US by $10,000 for all configurations, introducing the "Luxe Package." Now, the Model S AWD starts at $94,990, Plaid at $109,990, Model X AWD at $99,990, and Plaid at $114,990. The package aims to enhance the appeal of flagship models and the company's profitability.

The Luxe Package includes: Full Self-Driving (Supervised) for $8,000, four-year maintenance (wheel, tire, windshield protection) for $3,200, free charging at 70,000+ Supercharger stations (estimated at $5,000–15,000), and extended connectivity (music, movies, navigation) for $1,000. The total cost of the package exceeds $25,000, making it beneficial for active Supercharger users.

The package is mandatory for new orders, but 2025 models without Luxe are available at a lower price. The change supports Tesla's strategy to strengthen the Model S and X, which account for less than 5% of sales. Deliveries of the updated vehicles will begin in September.
