The AGR plant has developed a plan to produce cars in the 4th quarter of 2025 - the volume will be about 6,000 cars. Currently, production is provided only from the stocks remaining in warehouses from Korean manufacturers, the future of the plant is in question and depends on negotiations with the Korean side.
The end of 2025 will be a turning point for the plant: if the existing offer to buy out 49% of the enterprise and further supply of components gets the green light, then it will be possible to launch a new assembly cycle by May 2026. Refusal threatens a complete shutdown due to the lack of critical components, which include electronic units and relays, locks, multi-steering wheels, buttons and others. Import substitution of these elements - is a laborious, expensive and lengthy process, so the future of AGR is connected with further deliveries.
