The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, noted that it is planned to produce 4,000 of these cars in St. Petersburg by the end of 2025. "St. Petersburg Automobile Plant" is the former Nissan enterprise.
Lada Iskra is a new family of domestic B-class cars, the line will include a sedan, a station wagon and a cross-country station wagon in the Cross version. In the company's model range, Iskra will take a place between Lada Granta and the flagship Lada Vesta.
