The owner of a Lada Vesta since 2015 spent a million rubles on maintaining the car in 10 years, according to journalists from the "Za Rulem" publication.
Approximately two-thirds of the funds went to fuel, the remaining part was "eaten up" by the repair of the transmission and engine. The specialist calls the average fuel consumption at the level of 7.8 liters per hundred kilometers.
Maintenance costs for mileages of 166,800 – 175,000 km amounted to 46,647 rubles, the share of gas stations here is 36,332 rubles. Total expenses exceeded one million — 1,020,811 rubles. The cost of one kilometer of mileage is 5.83 rubles.
Replacing the Akom battery, which lasted only three years, cost 6390 rubles. The ball joints were replaced at a mileage of 170 thousand kilometers. Moreover, only one failed — the boot was torn. A pair of new ones cost 1500 rubles.
