In August 2025, Haval (a brand owned by Great Wall) launched the machining of key engine components: cylinder blocks and cylinder heads. The 4,700 square meter production site houses two independent conveyor lines for processing blocks and cylinder heads, respectively.
All equipment installed in the area represents advanced imported designs from various manufacturers, including modern machining centers manufactured in Germany. The organization of space is optimal, cleanliness is maintained, which creates a favorable working atmosphere.
Cylinder heads are processed for 1.5 (143 and 150 hp) and 2.0 liter (192 hp) engines. These engines are used in all models produced here, starting with Jolion and Dargo and ending with the modernized F7 and F7x.
In the engine assembly shop, which was launched in the spring of 2024, heads and blocks coming from the production line are processed. Here, engines are assembled on a conveyor, including 64 stages, of which only 11 are automated.
At the final stage, there is cold break-in and hot testing under various loads for six minutes. Currently, Chinese specialists are present in production as controllers and instructors; their participation is necessary at the initial stage of production.
