Avtostat conducted a study on the crossover market in Russia to find out which car lost the least in price over 10 years. The period from 2012 to 2022 was selected for the study. The leader of the list was the Honda CR-V with a result of 56% of the residual value. In 2022, a new model was estimated at approximately 3 million rubles, while a 2012 car was offered for 1.69 million.
The 2nd position was taken by another "Japanese" car - the Nissan X-Trail with a result of 47% of the residual value. In 2022, a new car cost 2.8 million rubles, and a similar 2012 model cost 1.32 million. Next, with results of 43-44%, were 3 more Japanese cars - Nissan Qashqai, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Mitsubishi Outlander, as well as the Renault Duster, which diluted the dominance of the Japanese.
The worst in the ranking was the product of the Bavarian plant - the BMW X5 with a shocking result of 24%. In 2022, a new car was offered at a price of 9.2 million rubles, while a 2012 car could be purchased for only 2.2 million.
