Lada Granta and Ford Focus in August 2025 became the leaders among the most frequently purchased cars by Russians with a price tag of up to 1 million rubles, according to SberAvto specialists.
The top 10 most popular models among Russians with a cost of up to 1 million rubles also included Hyundai Solaris, Lada Vesta, Kia Rio, Chevrolet Cruze, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Octavia, Opel Astra and BMW 3 Series.
The median check for an online car purchase amounted to 1 million rubles. The largest share in this segment is occupied by Russian brands (16%, including Lada, Moskvich and UAZ).
Cars of brands from South Korea (Hyundai and Kia) accounted for 15% of all transactions, from Germany (BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Opel and Audi) - 13%. The share of brands from the USA (Chevrolet and Ford) accounts for 9% of the total volume of cars purchased cheaper than one million rubles, and the share of Japanese brands (Nissan, Toyota, Mazda and Honda) - 8%.
