At the Chengdu Motor Show, Geely unveiled the updated Preface sedan, known in China as Xingrui Dongfang Yao. The car features a new design and advanced technologies. Exterior changes include a modernized radiator grille, narrower headlights, and an updated bumper. The model is available in three colors, including blue and green.
Significant improvements have been made to the electronics: the new GEEA3.0 architecture supports over-the-air updates. The Flyme Auto infotainment system is integrated with AI functions based on DeepSeek. The sedan is also equipped with the Qianli Haohan Assisted Driving H3 autonomous driving system, which includes 11 high-resolution cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors to enhance safety and comfort.
The powertrain is unified with the Geely Monjaro crossover: a 2.0-liter engine producing 272 hp is paired with an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Prices start at $19,400, making the Preface competitive in its class.
