Pre-orders have started in China for the updated Haval Big Dog PLUS crossover, known in Russia as Haval H7. Prices range from $15,800 to $22,500, which translates to approximately 1.25 to 1.8 million rubles. The car has received visual and technical improvements while maintaining its previous dimensions: 4705 × 1908 × 1780 mm with a wheelbase of 2810 mm.
The updated Haval H7 features a new radiator grille with a large illuminated Haval inscription, a GWM logo on the trunk, and wheels with a new design. Inside, the gearbox mode switch has been moved to the steering column stalk, and the media system screen has been enlarged to 14.6 inches. These changes make the interior and exterior more modern and functional.
Under the hood is a hybrid system based on a 1.5-liter engine (154 or 167 hp). The front-wheel-drive version is equipped with a 177 hp electric motor, while the all-wheel-drive version has 299 hp. The electric range is 50, 102, or 105 km, depending on the configuration.
