A new Citymax-8 bus was photographed near the gates of the Pavlovsky Bus Plant (PAZ). Apparently, it is being prepared for mass production.
The bus is equipped with information stickers and state registration plates, which indicates its readiness to operate on public roads.
According to "Behind the Wheel", the production of the 8.1-meter bus with 32 seats will begin in 2025.
Initially, the model was named "Valdai City", as it was based on the medium-duty Valdai Next truck. However, the new product will be launched under the PAZ Citymax-8 brand.
The bus is equipped with a G 2.5 diesel engine with a capacity of 150 hp (Euro-5 environmental class) in combination with a six-speed manual transmission.
