A new modification of the "Valdai 12" truck has been developed in Russia. The special equipment was built on a chassis with an extra-long wheelbase with a Euro platform that allows loading 20 standard Euro pallets.
The company "Modern Transport Technologies" (STT) noted that the Euro platform has dimensions of 8.4×2.48×2.7 m.
The superstructure is equipped with a sliding roof with side curtains, which speed up loading and unloading processes. The sides are made of aluminum 600 mm high, the cargo is protected during operation by rubber bumpers and a seal along the entire length. The flooring is made of moisture-resistant laminated plywood 21 mm thick and is equipped with 14 lashing rings.
The "Valdai 12" weighs 12 tons and is equipped with a diesel engine YaMZ-53445, developing 170 hp (662 Nm). It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an upshifting top gear.
