Ivan Mironov, General Director of the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, where XCite cars are assembled, announced the suspension of production due to the unfavorable market situation. The company still has 3,500 cars, which will continue to be sold through the Lada dealer network, which is also responsible for warranty obligations.
We have maintained relations with our partner, we have signed a license agreement. At the moment, there is a sufficient stock for implementation. This is about 3,500 cars and the possibility of continuing the relationship. The market will dictate our next steps. The project has not stalled, we just started quickly, made a large number of cars in a falling market. If there is growth, I do not exclude that, for example, we will order an additional batch
The production of X-Cite started in 2024 with the X-Cross 7 model, later in the same year the older X-Cross 8 model went on sale. You can buy cars at a price of 2.2 million rubles for the younger version and 2.6 million for the older one.
