The leading manufacturer of trucks in Russia, KamAZ, has unveiled an updated logo. The new emblem is intended for an exclusive series of vehicles - specialized tractors for operation in ports.
The logo has already undergone the registration procedure, as evidenced by documents in the Rospatent database. The patent image, in addition to the company name and indication of a special series, depicts a seahorse, similar to the usual "land" horse of KamAZ.
Information about the development of a fundamentally new KamAZ model designed to work in the port first appeared a year ago. The vehicle is being developed in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, with a curb weight of 7.5 to 9 tons and a carrying capacity of up to 33 tons.
The assembly of the first prototype tractor was planned for the beginning of 2025, and the release of a pilot batch - no later than the beginning of 2026. It is assumed that the tractor will be named Galleon.
