The FAW-Volkswagen joint venture has introduced the updated Volkswagen CC 2026 family, including a sedan and a wagon. The cars are equipped with 2.0-liter engines producing 186 or 220 hp, paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. The cost of the models ranges from $31,800 to $35,200 (2.62–2.92 million rubles). Although the Volkswagen CC, formerly known as the Passat CC, is no longer sold in Europe, it remains popular in China and continues to be updated.
The design of the Volkswagen CC 2026 remains unchanged, retaining its recognizable appearance. There are innovations in the equipment: the basic version now includes a telematics system, and the seats are finished in artificial leather instead of a combination of natural and artificial. At the same time, paddle shifters have been excluded from the configuration, which may surprise fans of dynamic driving.
The sedan's dimensions are 4865 mm in length and 1870 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 2841 mm. The Volkswagen CC Shooting Brake wagon is slightly longer at 4869 mm, but the wheelbase is identical. The updated models are aimed at the Chinese market, where the brand continues to strengthen its position, offering a combination of style, technology, and affordable price.
