Volkswagen restructures production and starts exporting from China

At the same time, Volkswagen has temporarily suspended operations at two plants in Germany

The FAW-Volkswagen joint venture has launched the export of cars from China to the Middle East. The first Magotan and Sagitar models, produced in Changchun, are ready for shipment. Today, September 28, 554 cars will set sail from Shanghai and will be available for sale in November. At the ceremony in Changchun, the first export car received a symbolic plaque "FAW-Volkswagen Export 000001". This event was an important step for the company, which seeks to strengthen its position in the global market.

Chen Bin, head of FAW-Volkswagen, presented the keys to the first car to Matthias Ziegler, head of Volkswagen Brand Middle East. Company representatives stressed that their goal is to make FAW-Volkswagen a leader among Chinese automakers operating for export. Production in China is becoming key for Volkswagen, which is looking for new ways to develop in the global market.

At the same time, Volkswagen has temporarily suspended operations at two plants in Germany. This step is related to the restructuring of production processes, while the company is increasing the production of cars in China for export.
