Toyota Yaris Cross gets cheaper in Russia

The Toyota Yaris Cross compact crossover, available through parallel imports at a price of 1,450,000 rubles, has become cheaper in Russia. Thus, the new Toyota turned out to be cheaper not only than the Moskvich 3, starting from 1.7 million rubles, but also some versions of Lada Vesta.

The minimum price in Vladivostok is indicated for a version with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 120 hp, a Direct Shift variator and an all-wheel drive system with a clutch on the rear axle. Judging by the ads, the car in the basic Z configuration already has rich equipment: combined interior trim with fabric and eco-leather, LED optics with fog lights, heated steering wheel and seats, climate control, cruise control with lane keeping and collision avoidance system, as well as multimedia with an 8-inch screen.

The hybrid version, which can also be ordered in Vladivostok, costs about 2,080,000 rubles. It uses the same 1.5-liter engine, but in combination with an 80-horsepower electric motor. The total power of the unit is 116 hp, and all-wheel drive is implemented by the E-Four system with an additional electric motor on the rear axle, which turns on at low speeds.

Some units are already on sale - all gasoline and front-wheel drive. In Blagoveshchensk, the top Yaris Cross Z Adventure costs 2,350,000 rubles, in Vladivostok - 2,380,000, and the GR Sport version is estimated at 2,390,000 rubles.

The model is built on the TNGA-B platform, shared with the Toyota Yaris hatchback. The length of the crossover is 4180 mm, width is 1765 mm, height is 1565 mm, and the wheelbase is 2560 mm.
