A member of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Sairov, proposed a ban on the use of Toyota Alphard minivans, which are often used in taxis.
According to him, these cars have become infamous due to the large number of accidents with serious consequences. Sairov noted that in just two days of July, two serious accidents involving Alphard occurred in the Zhambyl and Almaty regions, resulting in the death of ten people and injuries to four others.
The politician emphasized that he respects the work of drivers who earn money by providing transportation, but reminded that the pursuit of profit should not threaten human lives.
What do you think, are the cars themselves really to blame, or is the problem in violations of the rules and bad roads?
