Wuling, part of the SGMW concern, has started accepting orders for the new seven-seater minivan Wuling Xingguang 730 - the most affordable car in its class on the Chinese market. The preliminary price ranges from 76,800 to 112,800 yuan (approximately from 10,800 to 15,800 US dollars) depending on the version. A total of four trim levels are offered: two gasoline, a hybrid, and a fully electric one.
The model is built on its own Tianyu architecture and is equipped with the Lingxi Power 3.0 system, Shenlian battery technology, and more than 50 interior transformation options.
The dimensions of the Xingguang 730 are 4910×1850×1770 mm with a wheelbase of 2910 mm. The body received a large dark radiator grille and sliding side doors with guides recessed under the glazing line.
The interior is decorated in a modern style - with a "floating" dashboard and a 12.8-inch touchscreen multimedia system. The cabin is designed according to the "2+2+3" scheme and is designed for seven passengers. The front seats can be folded into a horizontal position, the second-row seats are equipped with double armrests, and the rear seats fold in a 40:60 ratio, increasing the trunk volume from 315 to 1202 liters. The cabin has 25 storage niches and four ISOFIX mounts.
Xingguang 730 is offered with three types of power plants: - the hybrid version combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a fourth-generation "10 in 1" electric motor. The average fuel consumption is 5.3 liters per 100 km, the range on electric traction is 125 km (CLTC), the total is up to 1100 km; - the fully electric modification is equipped with a 100 kW (134 hp) motor and a 60 kWh battery, providing up to 500 km of range. 2C fast charging replenishes the energy reserve by 200 km in 15 minutes; - the gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a capacity of 130 kW (174 hp) and a gearbox - a 6-speed "mechanics" or a variator.
