The "Wilgood" car service network has revealed the most frequent malfunctions of inexpensive Chinese crossovers, which appear even at low mileage. The main weak points are the suspension, electronics and insufficient protection of the body against corrosion.
According to Barno Tursunova, co-founder of the network, the suspension and steering of such cars are not designed for Russian roads. Problems arise after 25–40 thousand km: springs break, steering rod ends knock, and elements of the cardan shaft are deformed.
Electronics cause no less complaints - owners complain about freezing multimedia systems, burning out LED headlights and unstable operation of heated mirrors.
Other problems include poor anti-corrosion protection of the body, failures in robotic gearboxes of all types, and breakdowns of turbo engines during active operation.
